Retail Butcher Shop

Handke Bros Butcher shop has been run by the same family in Eudunda since before 1933. Morris or better know as Chas has been running the business since 1979 along with his wife Kathy.

Everyone still receives old fashioned service by being able to buy one sausage or chop to buying kilo's, whatever suits your needs.  This also avoids the unnecessary packaging which takes place in the supermarkets today.

Handke Bros have a good range of their own smallgoods and products made on the premises.

• Black & White Pudding
• Shinken
• Smoked Leg Ham

These are all made in the traditional German style.
Unfortunately the Mettwurst has to be made to adhere to the new laws, however Handke Bros feel their product has been perfected to become one of the best.

Contract Slaughtering

Handke Bros also have a Slaughterhouse which is not only used for their own stock killing. They will slaughter stock for other people, for example, Sheep, Cattle and Pigs and also process these carcases into products of the customers choice. People may choose to have Leg Hams or Bacon from a Pig they have slaughtered. There are a number of options, all you need to do is ring the Shop Number (08) 8581 1107 and speak with the shop Manager - Graham Minge. Graham will book your stock in to be slaughtered and advise what cuts and products you can have from the slaughtered animal.
