Kids Scrub Report.

All is going well, with the three whirlies now completed, having been built by secondary students from the Eudunda Area School, under the guidance of a local engineering firm.

Project Officers - Ronda and Jim Dunstan are now working within our local schools undertaking the making and decoration of ceramic tiles – depicting animals and flora that is common to the district.

The propagation of seedlings for the planting within the Kids Scrub location are also being undertaken - keen gardeners are out there amongst our young people!!!!

The Smith Family

The project is always keen to hear from families who may wish to apply for a Learning For Life Scholarship - kindly enquire at the Connect office (at Eudunda Area School) or to the school who can contact us!!

Learning Assistance Programs

The Program is keen to assist local students in academic or social skills - set within the schools' environments - to do this
..........we urgently need Volunteers!!!!!!!

If you can assist - even for one hour a fortnight, we would be thrilled to hear from you, please call our work mobile no. 0400567678.

Dance Program

There is currently a fantastic new project been introduced to Eudunda Area School and Robertstown Primary School, run through Footsteps Dance Co. This project is aimed to provide students with a varied style of dance/drama, which provides physical and social awareness and co-ordination
....................stay tuned for up-to date photos of this project.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Family Support

We are available to all families within the Eudunda and Robertstown areas - to provide, counselling, advocacy, interlinking with government and non-government agencies and general assistance with the pressures of raising families within a rural environment
......................especially in times of drought!!

Please be assured that any assistance given is done so within the strictest of confidence.

The Eudunda/Robertstown Connect facilitators are committed to their work, to the families in our region
.......................... to the very best practice that we can provide!!!


Referrals are welcome from students, community individuals, families or family based agencies!!!

Who are we? - Marcus Reseigh and Paula Marschall, two local residents who are available to assist students and families in the local area within the areas of education, engagement in learning, health and social wellbeing. - or anything that relates to families!!

Where are we?  - located at Eudunda Area School multi-purpose room. - central to everyone!! confidentiality  and privacy assured!!

How are we funded?- through 2 children's charities- Good Beginnings Australia and the Smith Family / SA Government  Social Inclusion Initiative.
